Non-Discrimination Policy

It is the policy of Avid Healthcare Services to admit and treat all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, disability or age, as required by Federal Law as long as they meet admission criteria. The same requirements are applied to all, and patients are assigned without regard to race, color, national origin, handicap or age. There is no distinction in eligibility for, or in the manner of providing patient services. All persons and organizations having occasioned either to refer or recommend persons to or for services to Avid Healthcare Services are advised to do so without regard to the person's race, color, national origin, handicap or age.

This policy is consistent with requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975.  Please refer to: www.hhs.gov/ocr for additional information.
